RESERVATION & CANCELLATION POLICY

​​Thank you for making your reservations at Kensington Gardens Tea, making your visit a memorable and special occasion. Please be advised to read the following policy;

We will hold tables for up to 10 minutes to accommodate late arrivals. If you are running late please call us at 07879 445 332 to inform us you are on your way. We will do our best to hold your table as long as possible. However, if your table has been reallocated, we will do everything to seat you as soon as a table becomes available.​

The table duration are reserved for 1.5hrs your table time is allocated at the original time of your booking, we therefore, may not be able to extend your reservation in the event of a late arrival.

For Afternoon Tea, we are currently only able to accommodate up to two guests per booking for indoor reservations.

If you make reservations for outside seating, tables are fully protected with an outdoor Garden Marquee in case of weather changes.

We request your card details to secure your reservation and protect our operational practice from no-shows. We do NOT take a deposit or advance payment. Request of full payment is on the day of your visit.

We kindly ask that any changes to your booking or cancellations be made at least 24 hours in advance. Our chefs prepare servings according to the number of guests in your reservation. We kindly ask that all guests order from either the Afternoon Tea, or Gluten-Free, depending on your booking. Each menu is individually plated and not designed for sharing.

Our menus and pricing are subject to seasonal changes and may differ from those available at the time of booking.

Afternoon Tea reservations, please note that if you choose not to proceed with your pre-booked menu upon arrival, a £25 cancellation fee per person will apply. This charge reflects the cost of ingredients and preparation undertaken in advance of your visit. The fee is non-transferable and applies per guest. Any alternative menu items ordered will be charged additionally at full price.

If you decide not to proceed with your pre-booked Afternoon Tea menu but would still like to use your reserved table for tea, coffee, and cake, please be aware that a 'table charge' of up to £15 per person may apply. This charge reflects the reservation and preparation of the table for your booking.

For any late cancellations (less than 24 hours in advance) and no-shows will incur a fee of £25 per person, which will be charged to the credit card used to secure your reservation.
